- 5 lbs hamburg
- ½ tsp pepper
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 & ½ tsp oregano
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 3 tsp paprika
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp italian seasoning
- 1 tsp salt (I add a little more)
Mix well shape into 2 loaves bake on broiler pan for 2 hrs 15 min 300 degrees
Donair Sauce
- 1 can carnation milk
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 & ½ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ cup vinegar
Mix sugar & garlic powder, add milk. Pour vinegar on top….do not stir. “Swish” it with a fork back and forth…put in fridge for a couple hrs then stir.
Serve on warm pita with donair mean, mozza cheese, tomatoes, onions & lettuce! YUMMM!!!
