When you live with the "C" word...more times than not it ends with the "D" word. As many of you know, Val lost her battle with cancer on January 20, 2012 at 9:45 PM, just hours after this post, on her youngest daughter's 30th birthday.

Parker & I were playing with his alphabet puzzle this morning when all of a sudden he runs to the bathroom yelling  "pee potty."  I was so proud until I got to the bathroom......

Yup....there was definitely pee in the potty. Good job Parker LOL

Parker Undies

This is how Parker has spent the whole morning! He has peed about every 20 min in the potty and has not had ONE accident! I am not "hell bent" on training him ASAP but I am going to start putting undies on him when we are home! Way to go Parker Thomas <3

We had a BLAST in the big city with our big boys! Thanks to everyone who helped out with Parker so we could enjoy a weekend away with the older boys! Here are a few pictures from our wonderful weekend away :)

Road Trip!

Tomorrow morning Prince charming & I are taking the 2 older boys to the "big city" for the weekend. We decided it would be nice for them to have some 1 on 1 time with Mama & Daddy. Parker takes so much attention, plus he NEEDS to nap in the afternoon or he is C-R-A-N-K-Y so it just would not be a good time for the boys. (Insert a great BIG thank you to the few people who will be helping with Parker over the weekend HERE :)
Jack woke up at 1:30 this morning puking but when he woke up at 7:30 he was perfectly fine! (No he did not eat too much candy...the kids are only allowed to pick a couple treats from their bag when they get home from school) I am PRAYING nobody else wakes up puking tonight but at least if it is a bug it is very short lived :)
The boys are SUPER excited and have a list of things they want to do...Toys-R-Us seems to be #1 on that list haha.
Well I am off to pack a suitcase...or 4!

Here is Jenn's note! I hope this is as much of an "AHA moment" for anyone who is struggling with these symptoms as much as it was for me!

Update

Sooooo....all my blood work was perfect. At my last appointment I mentioned to the Dr. something called "norepinephrine deficiency." I had never heard of this disorder before but after reading an amazing note on Facebook posted by an amazing girlfriend of mine (which can be read HERE) I was convinced that I was suffering from this. He told me it is "not something you hear much of" (UGH) and quickly dismissed it. Today he changed his tune. He asked me tons of questions related to this disorder (I am guessing he Googled it after my last visit haha). He basically said it sounds like this is what I have (read Jenn's note
for a description of it!) but couldn't really diagnose it as there is no "real" testing for it. He started me on Wellbutrin which should A) boost my energy B) curb my appetite and C) make me a happier me :)
The rest of my afternoon was spent getting new color, foils, haircut and then makeup shopping! My "sister-in-law" is a hairdresser (& an awesome one at that!!) and knows a lot about makeup and colors (which I suck at!) so she came with me at helped me pick out what I needed :) I bought $102 worth of makeup for $27! (Thanks to my wonderul Mother-In-Law and her wonderful birthday present to me back in July :)
So all in all I had a great day!
I am praying these meds work!! Looking forward to the blog post labeled "All Better" LOL
