23 Months

Parker Thomas, you are 1 month away from turning 2. I cannot believe that my little baby is almost 2. Everybody always told me how fast kids grow but you never seem to notice until you have some of your own!

What are you up to these days?

• You weigh 24 lbs
• You are finally in a size 4 diaper
• You are just outgrowing your size 4 Pumas!
• Size 12 month pants fit you PERFECT in the waist but are too short...18 months fit you great in length but are too big in the waist
• You have changed so much in just the last few weeks.  Every day I notice you getting older. You are beginning to be more like a little boy than a baby. You are SO smart!
• You talk all the time and you are starting to say more sentences. 
• You (clearly) state your opinions on everything....when asked a question you answer with yes or no.
• You are a parrot...you repeat EVERYTHING
• You know SO many songs, you LOVE music!
• You LOVE making people laugh
• You know "blue" "yellow" "red"
• You (usually) say "Please & Thank You"
• You can almost count from 1-10 (1-2-3-1-5-6-7-8-9-10)
• You climb into your crib but have not figured out (or dared) to climb out (yet)
• You try to do "hand stands" like Jack and it is pretty funny to watch
• You love to brush your teeth (which is new this month as you HATED it before)
• You have to "hugs, keeses" everybody
• You are starting to play a little more independently
• You love tractors
• You think you need a sippy cup of water in your crib every nap/bedtime
• You are (almost) sookie free outside of your crib
• My favorite thing that you have started doing is when you run up to me, saying "hugs, keeses" for no reason :) You also will not go to bed without a hug and a kiss.
• Unfortunately your favorite food right now are Kraft Dinner Cups...you get them for a treat but eat every last noodle when you do get them! You also LOVE when we go out for "I-CREAM...except you always feel the need to bite the bottom of your cone 1st.
• Your new thing this month is shrieking when you don't get your way (UGH)

It seems like just yesterday I was pregnant with you...now you are almost 2. I love you sweet boy!
