Jack: "Mama I picked you some flowers"
Mama: "Oh...umm those are...ummm....pretty...."
Jack: "They are not very pretty but they are special because they are not flowers yet."
Mama: "Yes, they are pretty special...."
Jack: " I picked them so we can put them in water and watch them grow flowers together."
Mama: "These are the prettiest flowers EVER Jack" :)

These times are what motherhood is all about :)

Tuesday's Thought

I seen this on a friend's facebook status this morning and it really couldn't be anymore fitting for me today.
"Laugh when you can, apologize when you should and let go of what you can't change. Love deeply and forgive quickly. Take chances and give your everything. Life is too short to be anything but happy. You have to take the good with the bad. Love what you have, always remember what you had. Forgive and forget...and always remember that LIFE GOES ON.

 

All In A Day's Work

Because there are LOTS of people who have much more reason to complain than I do....I am not going to tell you why I cannot wait for this day to be over.....

Monday...

Today is Monday & I am not feeling just "right." All weekend I have been sick to my stomach with 0 energy. I am not sure if I am fighting a bug or what. Parker has also been pretty darn cranky. Normally I LOVE days when all he wants is his Mama...but not so much when it has been 3 days and Mama is not feeling great! Thankfully on Saturday MY Mama came over and made a pizza crust plus grated cheese to make a pizza for supper. If it wasn't for that the boys & their Daddy would have been eating out of a can or a box!
Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I have not forgot about you all :) Don't forget to comment on Saturday's blog post for a chance to win a Gold Canyon candle!

I Smell A Giveaway!

A couple weeks ago in this post I mentioned "Gold Canyon Candles." I am a HUGE fan of candles and especially these ones. I have never burned a candle that burns so clean and smells so much! They truly are amazing. I don't know if you have ever bought a candle that smelled awesome for a week or 2 but then you could not smell it anymore? This is because when candles are poured, the essential oils are only added to the top of the wax once they are in the jars. With Gold Canyon it is all mixed in a vat WITH the essential oils and then poured so your candles smell until they are gone!
