Jammies, Coffee & Barney

The title of this blog has been my Thursday morning thus far. It really isn't a bad day (all Barney aside).

I am happy to have a day "in" today. I don't know what has been up with me lately. I have always been on the lower energy side (goes hand in hand with all the hormonal problems associated with "PCOS" see THIS BLOG POST) but lately it has been terrible. I am having to pretty much plan my days around an afternoon nap. If I don't nap when Parker does, I am toast. I cannot keep my eyes open past 7:00. I just feel terrible. I have an appointment with my Dr. Tuesday morning at 9:30 and I am hoping (and praying) for some answers. I am thankful I have a Dr. because many in this town are without. Having said that, I am worried about my appointment because he does not strike me as a very thorough Dr. (we have only had him for a couple years) This is what I see happening Tuesday morning:

Doc: "What can I do for you today?"

Me: "I don't know what is wrong...I am SO tired lately...I have NO energy...I need to nap like I am 5 months old...I am moody...I want to eat even when I know I am not hungry..."

Doc: "Any chance you are pregnant?"

Me: "Any chance your father is a giraffe with purple hair and green stripes?"

Doc: "Well you are a Mom to 3 busy boys, your body just needs that afternoon nap. It is normal to be tired"

Me (with tears now running down my face and snot dripping out of my nose): "THIS IS NOOOTTT NORMALLLL......................................"

You see where I am going here....I just feel like he is going to think I am a (tired) nut case. I know most Moms are tired, that is to be expected. I am beyond "tired" ALL THE TIME. I don't feel like doing ANYTHING. I cannot get back into exercising. I have NO energy.
When I called to make an appointment today the secretary asked me the reason for my appointment. I didn't know what to say. I told her I was falling apart haha
Hopefully I can get SOME answers next week.
I am hoping to get a nap in this afternoon. Prince Charming & I are going to take the older boys out for supper since they have been doing such a great job at school. Tauntie is going to babysit Parker so we don't have to worry about shoveling our food down as fast as we can before Parker is done and wants out of his highchair. It should be fun :)
I am very excited that tonight begins the 8th season of Grey's Anatomy....however it will be on my DVR to watch tomorrow, for obvious reasons....yawn....
