1 and a 1/2 years old!

Parker - you are EIGHTEEN months!

1 and a 1/2 years old!! I can't believe it!

What are you up to?

• You weigh 21 lbs.
• You wear size 3 diapers.
• You wear size 12 months although your 12 month jeans are getting a little short but 12-18 months are too long.
• You have 10 teeth (6 on the top 4 on the bottom) and I can see another bottom one starting to poke through.
• We are trying to switch to 1 nap a day instead of the 2 and it seems to be working well! You usually sleep 2-3 hours in the afternoon.
• You go to bed at 7 at night and have been sleeping until 7 or 7:30 in the morning. Sometimes straight through, sometimes up a time or 2 (or 3) for your sookie.
• You are starting to put words together. For example "All done", "Oh no", "Where are you"
• You are more affectionate now. I think my favorite "new thing" that you do is walk up to me and say "hug?" It melts my heart!
• You want to feed yourself with a spoon now (can you say mess?)
• You go in the kitchen and say "hunggy, peas" (hungry, please) You still sign both of these words from time to time.
• You LOVE books!
• You know the difference between hot & cold
• You get SO excited when Daddy comes in the front door after work! You run to the gate saying "DADDA, DADDA, HI DADDA!"
• You are starting to pick up your toys and put them in your toy box...also if your sippy cup leaks and there is milk/juice/water on the floor you go and get my dish towel and wipe it up :)
