Needless to say I had a sleepless night, not due to contractions, just adrenalin. With it being my 1st baby I was so excited and scared of what was in store.
The doc came up around 9:30 AM and gelled me. I had irregular contractions all day and was gelled again around 4. At around 10 that evening the pain was getting stronger. I had a little emotional breakdown after seeing a woman, who was gelled the same time I was walking the halls with her brand new baby boy.
My Mom decided to go home and I was to call her when things "started happening." Her phone rang at around 1:30 AM. I was finally in real labour! OUCH!
